The Roman Emperor Constantine enforced the first Sunday law, and it was through him amalgamating paganism and Christianity, with help from the Roman Catholic Church that the majority of the Christian world now keep Sunday as the Bible sabbath. The roman catholic church also issued Sunday laws during their reign, until their power was taken from them in 1798 by the French. But now, working through civil power, they are pushing the Sunday law again, and have been for some time.
