The Communication Movement is Growing! Week 2 Meeting #9 Subject: More Communication - electronic voting Very good meeting today, Vancouver Division 945 members have a good group of Division Officers and supporting members. Positive leadership at the Division level is obvious, and lots of work being done. New Local Chair looks motivated. Another good discussion on communication, how necessary it is and how communication is the key opportunity to improve things throughout the TCRC. Discussion around how much stronger we will be with an informed and knowledgeable membership. Its obvious there is no reason to wait and so we are just going to get it started and get it done. The membership knows there is stagnation over the last 4 years. No one cares about who was a victim in 2007, lets move on, we have work to do together! We are focusing on the future not reliving the past, modernize the TCRC, establish National Information Network, On line database for Division meetings, Electronic Voting - lets get it started! No need to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a single electronic vote, lets develop our own secure system and then use it. The Divisions can use it, and we predict 90% of the membership would vote using it.
