The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) today announced its plans to award $125,000 in grants to nonprofits working to address education, women’s health and children’s issues in Yuma County. The competitive grant cycle will launch December 9, 2014 with applications due January 23, 2015. Nonprofits interested in learning more about the opportunity and applying for funding are invited to attend a free event hosted by the Yuma Area Nonprofit Institute (YANI) and CFSA on Tuesday, December 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Yuma Main Library, Rooms A and B, located at 2951 S. 21st Drive. Attendees will receive a copy of the guidelines and have an opportunity to ask question regarding the grant cycle.
