The Community Radio Show Discussion Questions: WEEK- 1/19/15- 1/30/15 In our radio show today, we discussed Power Struggles in our relationships, and how to transcend them in a way that enhances your relationship experience. The sixth insight states that childhood dramas block the ability to experience a deep spiritual connection. All humans, tend toward one of the four “control dramas”: Intimidators steal energy from you by threat. Interrogators steal it by judging and questioning. Aloof people attract attention (and energy) to themselves by acting reserved or withdrawing. And Poor Me’s will make you feel guilty and responsible for them. Once we find a more effective Spiritual connection, relationships can develop around true interests and compatibility, without the need to involve security. Disagreements are then freed up and resolved through compromise and an Intuitive sense of which person should be displaying leadership in the given moment. Can you identify if you or the other person was playing: The Poor Me, The Aloof, The Interrogator, or the Intimidator? What happened when you tried the solutions we discussed? How often are you feeling the power struggles in your personal relationships? When someone is using a Control Drama to boost their energy by lowering yours, have you noticed how you defend yourself? What happens next?
