Cove police detained a juvenile at the police department on Friday at 2:55 p.m. with an order to take into nonsecure custody for failure to attend school. The juvenile was later released. A theft of healthcare services valued at $100 was reported to the police department on Friday at 3:35 p.m. A hit and run accident was reported on Friday at 3:51 p.m. from the 1400 block of Bowen Avenue where an unattended vehicle was hit causing damages costing more than $200 to repair. Value: $100. Accident/duty on striking unattended vehicle over $200: 1400 block Bowen Avenue. Found property: 1200 block Craig Street. Found: military records, key. Runaway: 900 block Whirlaway Drive. Theft over $50 under $500: 1100 block East Highway 190. Stolen: wallet and contents. Total value: $70. Found property: 2100 block East Highway 190. Found: credit card.
