The Council of Sages A few years ago, when Tara and I were in the Himalayas, we met a 125 year old Himalayan Master, named Paramananda Giri Maharaj, at the cave where he lived. He had spent 10 years with Anandamayi Ma, from whom he had received many blessings, and he had been a close friend of Neem Karoli Baba, Ram Das guru. He spoke perfect English and I asked him many questions that he was happy to answer. When I asked him what the Himalayan Masters do in their caves, he replied, The Himalayan Masters, through their meditations, prayers and mantras, are sending out powerful positive vibrations to benefit all beings on Earth. Then, he paused and said, Not only all beings on Earth but all beings throughout the Universe. There exists a network of High Masters who watch over the spiritual evolution of humanity from behind the scene. Around the world, in different cultures, they are called by different names. Some call them the Ascended Masters, the Great White Brotherhood, the Spiritual Hierarchy or the Guardian Wall of Humanity. They watch over humanity like a mother watches over her children, protecting them and guiding them toward the Light. The High Masters; Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Lao Tzu, Mahavatar Babaji, Meher Baba, Dharma Sangha, and thousands of others are constantly pouring forth their Divine Grace for the benefit of every living creature, every human, animal and plant. May we all open our hearts to receive this Divine Love and become One with it. ~ Ganganath
