The Councillors and staff of Scenic Rim Regional Council wish the community a merry and safe festive season and a Happy New Year. Residents are advised the following arrangements will apply over the festive season period: Waste: All waste sites (transfer stations) will be closed on Christmas Day. They will be open on Boxing Day and New Years Day (providing they fall on a day that the sites are usually open – click here for opening days and times). Waste and recycle bin collections will occur as per normal on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Please ensure your bins are out before 5:30am or th day before for collection. Cultural Centres: Closed from Thursday 25 December 2014 to Monday 12 January 2015 (inclusive). Council Offices and Libraries: Closed from Thursday 25 December 2014 and reopening Monday 5 January 2015.
