The Country leadership is behaving as if Kenya is going to die tomorrow due to a disease called WAGE BILL... Yet the solution lies just within our reach...Sample this; Kenya discovered & has; 1. Oil in North Eastern, 2. Coal in Eastern, 3. Gas in off-shore Coast, 4. Titanium in Coast, 5. Gold in some parts of Nyanza region & Western, To make matters sweeter; 1. Tourism is flourishing in Coast, 2. Tea is growing well in Rift Valley, 3. Sugarcane is covering Western, 4. Maize is in abundance in North Rift, 5. Coffee in Central still remains the best in the best in the world, Now Kenyans; If we stop being worried and directionless and marshal all our developmental resources in the above fields... Am 100% sure that we will be developed by Vision 2030... Combine the above with these 10 MEASURES ON HOW TO REDUCE WAGE BILL; 1. Reduce counties from 47 to 16, 2. Abolish the former provincial administration aka County Commissioners, 3. All Commissions in Kenya to have maximum of 7 members and cut down on their salary, 4. Abolish undeserved sitting allowances by MPs & Judges and unnecessary committee allowances, 5. All seminars & meetings by civil servants to be held in government institutions, 6. Give golden handshake to 200,000 civil servants who are due to retire or who are above 50 yrs including Muthaura and Matu Wamae and the likes, 7. Clamp down on rampant corruption and misappropriation of funds by sealing all loopholes and severely punishing all who engage in the vice, (Copy how China deals with corruption-i.e. Life in imprisonment or hanging), 8. Reduce the number of security detail cars for all VIP starting with President, VP, CS, Judges, etc, 9. Abolish allowances such as entertainment, house-helps,hospitality, fuel, etc paid to all VIPs, 10. Abolish the lavish retirement benefits to former presidents and all VIPs since they are rich enough to carry on with life from their savings /investments.... CHAMBILECHO WAHENGA;
