The Cultural Affairs Citizens Advisory Board and the Suffolk County Motion Picture/Television Film Commission are now accepting funding applications for 2015. Eligible program activities should be directly related to, but not limited to, music, theater, dance, painting, sculpture, poetry, architecture, literature, films and allied arts and crafts. Eligible applicants must have 501 © 3 tax exempt status or a fiscal sponsor. (Please see 2015 Guideline for additional information) All applications will be reviewed and scored via a merit based grading system. The Suffolk County 2015 Community Arts and Film grant application is available to applicants beginning, November 19, 2014, in an electronic format at: suffolkartsandfilm On the top of page, click on the Cultural Arts Grant Program tab. If assistance is needed, applicants may call the Department of Economic Development and Planning at (631) 853-4800. Please be advised that all grant programs and funding levels are subject to budget availability. Applications must be postmarked by February 6, 2015.
