The Culture of Rastafari:A Commitment to an Afrikan God? We Ethiopians belongs to one group of People, the Afrikan people.-Hayle Sellasse I. Ras Tafari is viewed as the Black King and an Afrikan God to the Afrikans domiciled in Exile and in the continent of Afrika. True to the Afrikan Nature, the Afrikan never fight over God or compete over which Afrikan God is better than which. Its a pity that the Christians within Rastafari brought that Anti-Afrikan God attitude with them within Rastafari and have a Judeo-Christian Motheistic Conception of Hayle Sellasse I as the Hebrew God of the Bible not the Afrikan God King of Afrikan Sacred Regnal Culture. Many Christians within Rastafari have added Rastafari into the list of Anti-Afrikan God Groups like Nation of Islam,Afrikan Christians of all persuasion,Hebrew Israelites and common to all this people is that they know nothing about the Afrikan God they are fighting against. They never been in a religion or culture based on worshipping Ramasedi,Modimo,Maa-Ngala,Katonda because they are children of Neo-Afrikan Cultures which are Black Christians. They are born in already Christian converted families and were brought by the doctrine of Christianity and went to Christian Schools. They left Christianity straight to Rastafari and brought with them the Anti-Afrikan God Christian Attitude within Rastafari which only accept Hayle Sellasse I in the image of a conservative Judeo-Christian God. This condition engages the Movement which is supposed to be a Movement of Mental Liberation for Afrikans to find itself engaged in Abstract Ideological and Theological Struggle with itself over theological issues of God within the histology of the same people who oppressed and enslaved us. Now this individuals engaged in psychology of self hate and rejecting what they dont know and never practiced reveals a logical abstraction which to the Afrikan Centred Rastafari,is an impoverishment and falsification of the fullness of vital truth.
