Heres a teaser: We are very pleased to be returning to Texas, and look forward to meeting many folks whove not yet had a chance to attend a retreat. But this retreat is not just for Texans, in fact we already have folks coming from Oregon, New England, and Florida - as well as Doc Burkhart, who will be joining us from the Philippines. If you havent been to a Biblical Families Retreat before, heres a bit of what you can expect. Friday evening there will be a chance for everyone to share: come ready to participate, and dont miss this time - those who have already been to a retreat can tell you how important this is. Saturday mornings session should include a message, and more interactive time, and a few surprises. Saturday afternoon the men and women will separate into private sessions, for some focused support and sharing - this can be powerful as well. Saturday evening and Sunday morning well have some great worship - which will be led by an experienced worship band, we will be a great blessing. You can expect some very focused messages from our speakers, Bob Platt, and Doc - and to be called upward in both your personal walk with Christ, and in your family life. Men, expect to be challenged on how you lead your family in love. Yes, we will discuss Biblical marriage, and the practical aspects for families of all sizes, and there will be a number of plural families present - but our focus is on glorifying God in every aspect of our lives. Come expecting to share, to be prayed for, to laugh, learn, and make some lifelong friendships.
