“The Day Israel Attacked America” (off-topic) This is an hour documentary I just watched on the Al Jazeera channel about the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty on June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day War. It accurately states that President Lyndon Johnson was the most pro-Israel president in American history. Even so, LBJ leaked information about the attack to the press, as the US military initiated a total media blackout of the incident, according to the program. Many pro-Israel lobbiests considered this a betrayal by LBJ, and accused him of making “blood libel” accusations against Jews, something that would destroy him politically, according to the program. https://youtube/watch?v=c5mu79ygShs
