The Department of Justice has decided to abandon the rule of law, and pressed suit on the State of Texas concerning its right to govern its own election. Texas affirms its rights under the 10th amendment to the US Constitution, and in keeping with the Supreme Court decision, which in this case ruled correctly, will institute the new voter I.D. laws. I urge the Department of Justice to drop this lawsuit, and to cease all targeting and prosecution of Texas citizens. It is not something that Texans will stand for any longer.
