The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP will honour the invitation of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russia Federation, Dr Dmitry Livanov to attend the Moscow International Education Salon to be held at the Expo Centre, Pavillion 7, Moscow on the 07th to 09th October 2014.The salon is an extensive international Forum that will embrace leading innovation technologies in the education sphere. The goal of the event is to enhance the access to, and quality of, education through public-private partnership, promoting international best practices that will boost the personal and professional development of individuals. Deputy Minister Manana and his delegation will meet all South African students who have been awarded scholarships to pursue their postgraduate studies in the Russian Federation. The delegation will also visit Universities and Colleges that offer programmes and courses focusing on Applied Mathematics, Nuclear Technology, Construction and Building Design, as well as Aeronautical Engineering amongst others. A meeting between the Deputy Minister and the South African Ambassador to the Russian Federation, H.E. Ambassador Mandisi Mpahlwa, will be held on the sidelines of the International Education Salon.
