The Dictator of the Week is Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, of Equatorial Guinea. He is suffering from terminal prostate cancer, possibly due to the consuming (eating) of enemies in order to gain their power. HIs son, Teodoro Mangue (a sweetheart Im sure), is said to succeed him. Abuses under Obiang have included unlawful killings by security forces; government-sanctioned kidnappings; systematic torture of prisoners and detainees by security forces; life threatening conditions in prisons and detention facilities; impunity; arbitrary arrest, detention, and incommunicado detention. ...In July 2003, state-operated radio declared Obiang the countrys god and had all power over men and things.
