...The Difference... “…EveryDay In the real world…We are Presented With Growing Adversities & Challenges all around us…And… …When someone in our Life Circle…Whether we Know them well or not… …Either blames us…Or cusses at us…Or points the finger at as…Or throws us under the bus… …Or treats us poorly…Or verbally abuses us…Or whatever it is that we have just become the target of… …Isn’t it so easy to respond in the like manner that it was given? …Isn’t it so easy to heap an instant reservoir of kerosene onto the already raging fire? …And an Even Deeper Question is why is it so easy to instantly give & return poison for poison? …And an Even Deeper Question is why do we want so badly to hurt them more than they hurt us? …What I have learned is that this is the extent of “what we can do” in “our own power”… …Our response…In our best efforts…Is “our power”…And definitely is…Our pride… …It is very very very difficult to hold back after someone says something of this nature… …Our minds get highly offended & no sooner than they start in on us we are ready to interrupt… …Aren’t we? We are so ready to “give them a piece of our mind” that we don’t need a reason… …To Just Wait…To Just Wait On The Lord as those hot coals burn through the wiles of our flesh… …I Dare you To Just Listen to those ugly words coming out of that person’s mouth for a moment… …I Dare you To Just Listen to the darkness of this person’s Heart & Give It A Chance To Release… …What Apparently has been boiling deep beneath the skin…For a very long…long…long… time… …I Dare you To Just Be SomeOne Who…Will Listen For A Moment & Give this person A Voice… …Cause in reality…This Goes Way Deeper than administering a verbal tongue lashing to you… …So This Is Why I Dare you…To Just Listen to this person…Until they are Done…Finished… …And Guess What? You Will Have Probably Been The Only Person To Have “Ever Cared”… …Yes…“Ever Cared Enough” To Listen To What this person “Had To Say”…Not Many Do anymore… …Because in our society we “don’t have time” or are “too busy” or “can’t babysit the world”… …As Believers In Jesus Christ we Have Forgotten that we are where we are For A Very Good Reason… …There Are So Many People In Our Life [Jesus] Circles that we Could Listen & Minister To EveryDay… …If…We Dared…To Just Listen…If…We Dared…To Just “Get Over ourselves” & Begin To See That… …All of “these challenges & adversities” Are Really Good Opportunities To Display…Who We Are… …That we Are In this world But That we Are Not Of It…That Indeed we Have Time To Simply Listen… …And Create Intimate REALationships In Hopes That There Would Be A Moment To Share…Jesus… …The Very Hope In Which we Move & Have Our Being…Because He Would Stop & Have The Time… …To Gather Up the hardened stones of a person’s shattered Heart…Only To Give them Back A Rock… …On Which they Could Stand…And Find A Place…Interestingly Found & Located In The Presence Of… …A Person… A Person Earnestly Listening To Every Word…A Person With A God Kind of Gravity… …A Person With A Greater Measure of Power…In His Being…In His Heart…In His Love & In His Words… …And When we “Just Stop & Dare To” For A Moment…We Will Even Profoundly “See” SomeThing… …We “Will See” That His Powerful UnSeen Being & Presence Has Just Arrived In & Through us… …Yes…our being Increasing In & With His Being…Making Him More Known & Releasing His Measure… …And That…Is Real Power…Yes…Captivating Spirit Power…And That Is… The Difference…” - The Disciple […1 Pet 4:12…Prov 18:21…1 Pet 3:9…Jer 17:9…Luke 6:45…Psa 27:14…Jam 1:19…Prov 25:22…John 15:19…Acts 17:28…Matt 7:24-27…1 Pet 3:12…John 14:20…John 3:30…2 Cor 10:5…]
