The Dogs at the Stark County Dog Warden need our help. So many dogs end up there for one reason or another. Strays, abandoned dogs, mistreated dogs, those that just became separated from the families and many others. The SCDW really and truly is the front line of the fight to help these dogs. The problem that I see is that for whatever reason, a certain percentage of folks attach a stigma of sorts to a dog just because he or she is at the SCDW. Oftentimes it seems that somehow people believe that if a dog is there, there is some issue with them that makes them less desirable as a family pet. We want everyone to know that nothing could be further from the truth! Help us to change that perception by visiting the SCDW page and LIKING it and encouraging your friends and family to do the same so that we can build up a following and spread the word about the wonderful dogs of the SCDW. Encourage people to visit and even to volunteer to help out. The more people who know and see first hand the dogs that are there....the better their chances are to make it to a new family who will love and take care of them.
