The Dragons Den.... 1. Fat Lad At The Back. Quite cool. See where they were coming from. Like Deborah Meaden, I think the brand is a wee bit word heavy. Its almost a sentence. Try F.L.E.A - Fat.Lad.Easing.Ahead - Its a more positive description that lets us know the lads current position/state and where hed like to be. Or even just Fat Lad/s which would leave more scope for future developments. 2. More distribution companies. YeeHaa ! The U.K really needs more warehouses and call centres for theres a real shortage. . Thank you Kelly Hoppen for your continued support of the creative industries. Its probably just a coincidence that Duncan Bannatynes initials are the same as Dull Bstard. Alan Bstards cousin. 3. Murella - Enough said. 4. UKick - Fun toys, good chaps. Just felt the fun had been taken out of the toys by them being over engineered. Pretty sure theyll have success though. 5. Walking sticks with lights and alarms. Welcome To Ibiza. What about one that transforms into Nunchucks ? You know, just in case. All that remains to be seen is the size of box it will arrive in. Big box or small box ? 6. Marshmallows !! Mmmmmm. My favourite. Please have the confidence to stand up for yourselves, entrepreneurs. That will require knowing your product. Kelly Hoppen described the mallows as stale ( similar to Nougat ). Before Haribo made sweeties all soft and fluffy, marshmallow was similar to nougat. I also think that the market a food product enters should be reflected by the ingredients and artistry involved with the production and not solely from the packaging. Note too entrepreneurs... Dont be too confident though. Take the deal. Its a good one... £millions for giving away a higher equity is smarter than £thousands from a lower equity, if any at all. Business life will get a wee bit tougher when seeing 200 young entrepreneurs making marshmallows tomorrow morning. The Glasgow F.L.E.A says...... If you have an investor already, dont step into The Dragons Den. Its painful to watch.
