The Drift the Space By R.D Whitney A.K.A Ray Aliti Walking silence drift it seems separates time and space Mind it shatters thoughts they gleam I remember only your face The heart it pounds feet they slide Feet to ground, our thoughts collide while dreaming of this place For I am here and thou art there for now I just sit and stare Dreaming of our focal point for to never knowest where, And maybe I was just a fool playing a part inside your book For you to gain and I am left lose myself inside your look You push, I pull, and we circle around Clinging to this love For what is love, like air without wind carrying the flight of doves? See I have grown much older now, wiser within my years And all the pain I lived to learn are washed away with tears I for you, you for me, who we are, and that which will be We are more than meets the eye We dream interwoven, intertwined a metaphor through scattered skies. No measurement known to deep be the parameters All kings dethroned like soulless armatures When thou beauty hast been shown and all is known Left drifting, dreaming in iambic pentameter.
