The EG asks if Naomi Wolf is a self-hating Jew. Rather, I would say that she no longer considers herself part of the Jewish People. One cannot claim to love the Jewish people and simultaneous support those who call for the violent destruction of every Jew on the face of the earth. The problem Boteach misses is that she calls for social justice. Justice can only be based on the individual merits of any case. Social justice means the assignment of collective responsibility upon individuals because of what race, religion, language or cultural group and nation they belong to. Anyone calling for social justice is calling for unearned guilt. This is probably the emotion that has prompted Wolf to abandon both the Jewish people and her feminism.
