The Election is over. Some people got who they wanted in office, while others did not get the person they were hoping for. Ive been reading post after post about people mad and upset at one another cause this person or that person voted for someone else. We plead for people to vote, than get mad at them for who they voted for. It doesnt make sense to me! Yes I know this comment or post will probably upset alot of people, but thats for them to get over. If you read the first thing I typed....THE ELECTION IS OVER!!! If I understand that correctly, over means finished or complete. So now its time to move on with our lives. Its time to quit the complaining and get to work. The same amount of time it takes to type all the negative comments, you could be typing positive comments. That same amount of time spent looking at the past could be spent looking to the future. Why all the hatred for one another? Nothing gets accomplished, when we continue to complain and be negative. We are in a small Eastern Ky community, we will always have to struggle to get the good things. Im sure we really impress the out of towners that might bring in business, with all this complaining about one another and the way things look for some places and areas. Do we deserve to have them come in? Its just as easy to pick up a piece of garbage and properly dispose of it, than complaining about somebody not doing there job. Thats just an example of something that we can do. This post is just my opinion and my point is this.... If you want change...CHANGE YOURSELF FIRST! Just saying.
