The Elks Lodge had a German Party this evening. Appetizers were cuke sandwiches, cheeses and sausage, popcorn, pretzels and sauce. We had a delicious meal, sausages, sauerkraut, German potato salad (warm), homemade chunky applesauce. All the food was donated...meats by Louies :). We had many volunteers that made the evening run smoothly. We had German choc cakes for dessert. I must brag, everyone like my decadent chocolate and we ran out. Other cakes were very good too. Lots of music and a sing along. Drinks were good...Hic!!! The whole upstairs was filled with people, laughing and having an awesome time. There were only 2 empty chairs. All the money that was made is going towards a barrier free ramp and new doors. 50/50 was won by my friend, Marcia. I must say this was a super successful party thanks to Bob, Mary,Tom, Marcia and me. Cant wait to work with them again. I am exhausted tho... Hope everyone is having a great evening. God is indeed good...He gave us a most perfect day!! :)
