*The End* She looked out of the rain-splattered window. Two drops of water were trying to reach the bottom of the pane at a slow pace. But she was interested in something else.On the other side of the street, a man looked up to the window and smiled. She smiled back. He ran across the street and she could hear him pound up the stairs, through the open door. As she crossed the room to meet him, he appeared at the door, soaked, but with a tired smile. They looked at each other a long moment. Then he removed his raincoat and took his revolver in his hand. There was a gleam in his eye and she knew the gleam perfectly well. He was not happy. Something was bothering him. As she moved to hug him, he pointed the revolver at her. Their gazes were still. She had expected this, but his look worried her. She reminded herself that he loved her and taking a deep breath, took a tentative step forward. The look on her face was enough to tell him she had taken him seriously. He shoved the revolver away and hugged her like he did every day. She laughed, a sound of relief and mounting trust. Looking at him again, she knew it was the usual joke. Nothing had changed. She took the revolver from him, along with his belt and his shirt that was adorned with badges. With her radiant smile, told him to wait for his tea. Yes, she loved him. ~ Apoorva Mishra. #TAWfanarchy
