The End! The tale of a sword, a man, a debate... The unsheathing of a sword, in Bushido, is akin to a mans ejaculation during copulation. La petite mort (little death) occurring during orgasm (when man is the weakest) contrast with that moment frozen in time during which the blade becomes a thin line between life & death for he who holds it. The kitana, is said to hold the Samurais soul for some battles are fought with spirit not strength. Few know it! The true value of a man is never in the quantity of whatever he has or aims for but the quality of combining having & being. Lies of human nature & society for survival, would lead he who realizing as a teen that his survival at Sekigahara depended on his flight to become as a wild beast, til fortune meeting of his would be mentor the monk Tekuan, to no longer glorify his many dueling victories, even the famed one by boken (practice sword... in wood) vs Kojiro. Musashi, by Zen & Shakyamuni, elevated himself seeking peace of soul & mind following The Way of self-reliance. He died standing taller than he lived, no longer requiring for his 2 swords to drink nor debatting his value a duel at a time as others value theirs w money, women or a debate... Though most known of Roman orators, Cicero is not the one who had the biggest impact with a speech. Instead it was Cato who by repeating his hateful tirade Cartago must burn lead to the 1st recorded genocide as Rome, having survived the fright of the armies of African general Hannibal Barca (yes he was Black), took revenge by desecrating the land so none grows back on it to challenge Roman power. In an oratory contest, or debate, those often lacking perspectives tend to ploy to unnerve their opponents thru subterfuges as lies, false reads of facts & data, or purposefully sticking to silly details leading to confirm their own views in denial of truth no matter how blatant. Yet my old seifu of Bei Shaolin Gung Fu taught me long ago to not stress of such ppl. He said to never be overconfident to be right but rather let he/she ridicule themselves by exposing their lack of empathy, knowledge, perspectives or simply narrow mindedness to prolong an argument, or a fight that ended from the start... before it even began. General Sun-Tzu said the same of military strategy. So Y call this The End? Just as every pleasure & pain must end, so must every day & night, so must all things. The age of the sword ended w gun powder, just as any man no matter mighty is to turn to dust, as any debate to end. That is absolute. Bushido calls for an inner debate to unsheath a sword to bring death... even a boken for practice. Any unnecessary extent is a waste leading to one losing the way & risk looking pathetic! The wish to go on is but human, as king David cheating death, yet thin is the line to mental! So it is Y even I must end here my thoughts & apologize for taking ur time :) The End! P.S. Musashi is the greatest man of the sword to have ever lived, yet my favorite swordman is 1 far less known for Black in an age when Blackness truly was a curse. When taught sword fighting in France, our master had taught us to remember Musashi not for his many kills but philosophy as I remember looking now at the sword scar on my left hand. That fight on the log almost killed me :) Isnt amazing that I discovered the amazing treasure that is Earl Grant in my records today while my Facebook post on murderer cops killing unarmed Blacks was hijacked? Intelligence, respect & measure we must have! Himanity comes w such & freedoms as speech! RIP Earl (1931-1970)... To think I only discover U now lol If only I had time... I love :) #CREAM #sword #Musashi #debate #perspectives #Blacklivesmatter #Africa #peace #justice
