The End Times Posted on September 17, 2014 by inspiredbythespirit I wrote the article Michael Rescues Israel about (Daniel 12:1-3). I read the chapter later and decided to present its last six verses, for Daniel was perplexed with a vision and then questioned the Almighty Father. I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.” (Daniel 12:8-13) The wise shall possess Understanding for spiritual purification and refinement anticipating of Christ’s Second Coming, but the wicked will keep their ways, said the Almighty Father. Understanding allows us to penetrate God’s ideas to become convinced of the truths of the Faith. I have penned the articles GO TO CHURCH! and Return to Church for exposure to God’s ideas to increase your Faith. Desolating abomination refers to the evil that the Antichrist will perpetrate in a Jewish sanctuary after a period of increasing Apostasy and Evil. He will then cause increasing evil throughout the world. Let’s commit our lives to Jesus, loving others as He loves them and worshiping Him as He thought us. The greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul and strength. In return, He will keep us safely through the desolation that will close the earth’s history just before Christ comes again. We are living a period of increasing Apostasy and Evil, signs of the times preceding The Antichrist and the desolating abomination. The biblical verses do not present a timeline, but mention 1,290 and 1,335 days from the desolating abomination till Christ’s coming. The figures differ in 45 days and correspond approximately to 3.5 years. “But of the day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” (Matthew 24:36) https://meditationsoncatholicism.wordpress/2014/09/17/the-end-times/
