The English and the Canadians take their tea seriously. At home, - TopicsExpress

The English and the Canadians take their tea seriously. At home, dad always kept his teapot at the ready. Before dinner tea, he would wash out the pot, get the tin with the loose tea out, dish out the appropriate tea spoons always with one for the pot, before having rinsed out the tea pot with boiling water, he inserted the water for tea, placed the whole shooting match into the cozy and waited the preferred time until the tea had sufficiently steeped...Since then, Ive enjoyed tea through out Asia, and while we didnt get into all the stirring and bowing and it was not dispensed by Geisha, we Brits did a pretty good job of getting the tea down the hatch....and enjoying it, to boot!... My favorite is still British breakfast tea and my last great formal tea was at the Empress on the island of Vancouver!....
