The Evening Express have written their article about the bollards we campaigned to have put up. Bollards that stop people illegally driving on the pavement. Bollard that stop the pavement being damaged. Bollards that make it safer for people to walk on that pavement (some of which have thanked us) But now, the people are complaining they feel isolated, because of this short walk. They even claim their cars are only outside their houses to drop off shopping, when we have shown them parked outside at all hours of the day and night, even with a bit of snow around on the ground. The council say it is a pavement and the police were even involved in stopping this illegal activity. Not that the bollards are stopping the locals. They continue to drive round them (check the damage to the grass) which means the council (their letter attached) are having to involve the police again.
