The F and F franchise legacy has and will continue to introduce scores of young people to the car world. After the first and second installments, enrollment in automotive schools shot up 60%. That was until some found out how much work was involved and 20% of those dropped out after 2 months. I, myself tended Apex automotive school here in NYC even though I already had experience in cars. Thats right people, I do know the difference between a rotary engine and a Chevy small block. The down side of the legacy is that we also seen a spike in fatalities due to illegal street racing. There are tracks that you can go to race with out having to lose your car to the police or taking the life of an innocent pedestrian. In 2013 We sadly lost Paul Walker doing what he loved most. Going fast. RIP. The F and F franchise will carry on and Hot Wheels will keep up with the new creations to come from that franchise.
