The FACT is... Let me explain first. Please read before you comment anything. First: Some of you says that its a bluff because the part that got cut by Zoro was on his stomach and Akainus Magma punch was on luffys chest. If you try to imagine, this would make Luffys scar same as the mark on Monkey D. Dragons face (the double X image below). But if you will look closely on the image, you will see that its on his chest. Second: Some of you says that its a bluff just because its a non-cannon episode. Means that its not part of the original story-line. Its not following the generally accepted rules of One Piece. JUST BY THAT REASONING. Third: Some of you says that its a fact because the two attacks did land on the same area of Luffys body(chest) but some of those who said that its a fact dont even read One Piece manga. Its a total disadvantage not to read manga, because the manga is the original material that was STATED BY THE WRITER THEMSELVES IN THEIR WORKS. FACT: 100% made by Akainus magma punch. Many times you can see Luffys chest didnt have an x scar on the main story-line like Sabaody Archipelago, when they fought against the Shichibukai Bartolomeo Kuma. You can see that Luffy didnt have any scar on his front body. And when you look closely on his scar, you can see a burn pattern on it (the colored manga image below). To know the story of One Piece and its content, you must look at the Japanese print of the manga; where the series started from. The manga is the backbone of One Piece, and without it, One Piece would not exist. Everything, everyone, and any events or information found in the manga are canon. But guys, just dont comment that a post is not a fact if its a non-cannon, have your own explanation please. Shanks - One Piece
