The FLABulous 5K was an absolutely amazing event. Aside from just the money we raised (which I will get to later in this post) I saw so many of my friends and clients complete their first 5K. People who told me they would never be able to do it. People who thought it would take them hours. Theyre all winners. I have a lot of people to thank. First of all, my awesome, supportive family who was there early in the morning checking people in and setting up. I love you guys: Becky Gary Lyndsey Jordan and Eugenio. Then, of course my work family who not only put in a bunch of work, but donated HUNDREDS of dollars worth of water, raffle prizes, and worked the first aid stands and water stations. You guys worked hard and it was very much appreciated ClaudiaRichard Ashley Ashton Shannon. Thanks to my friends who would never usually get up and do a race. you guys are like my second family and it means more than you will ever know that you were there along side me Amanda Chelsea Veronica. And D Rock Willamson who spent all morning harassing people for more money. Derek, you made a huge impact. We have a love/hate relationship and Im more on the love side with you... for now... Thanks to all my friends from Goldenwest for Hub Bubbin at my race (glad you got to check in). All of my clients who ran in their first race today (there were a lot of you). Im proud of you and so grateful to be part of such a big mile stone in your life. However, dont think that this is a pass to skip the gym on Monday. Ill see you bright and early. My runner in spirit friends who raced along with us all over the country. I hope you had as much fun as we did here in Utah. My Biggest Loser sister Sarah who I met for the first time today. I cant wait to hang out again. And of course, every single runner who came out to support my quest for skin removal surgery. Because of you, I am well over halfway to achieving getting the $7,000 goal raised. THANK YOU! As of today, between my GoFundMe and the race, I have raised around $4,630 and some change!! Only $2,400 left to go! I cant believe how quickly this is all coming together. Be sure to stay tuned to my go fund me page to see the upcoming donor prizes. Theyre gonna be AMAZING!!
