OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM FAILED PRESTON KING ON NOVEMBER 13, 2013..... Preston King had his rights taken from him... He has never wanted anything more except to be a daddy to baby Wyatt.. Preston King had his Constitutional rights to being a daddy and parent his child that the birth mom didn’t want and almost aborted, kept from him on November 13, 2013.. He has never wanted anything more except to be a daddy to Wyatt.. He did all he could do and he truly LOVED the babies mama as much as a 18 year old in high school could..He was so EXCITED the day he found out he was going to be a daddy and announced it to the whole world... Preston worked 2 jobs, attended every known doctors appointment, bought her clothes as her belly began to grow, bought baby items along the way, pampered her as much as money would allow with manis & pedis, nice dinners, day trips and even over nite trips to the beach area. He moved out on his own and rented an apartment for them a month before graduating high school, acquired furniture including baby furniture and decorative items some which he made to truly make their place homey. But, thats just a little of what he did. Sadly no matter how hard he tried or how much effort he put into this relationship, it just didnt work. He just couldnt make her happy. He never stopped trying. He was informed the 2nd week of August that she was planning to give their baby away at birth for adoption with or without his consent. He was even contacted by someone at an adoption agency via text message trying to coax him into meeting the people she hand selected. He made it very clear that he wanted his child to raise and that he was absolutely against placing him for adoption and that he would not consent to this. Preston was at the courthouse the next morning filing papers to establish paternity. He appeared in court a few times prior to baby Wyatts birth to try and stop what was happening and request that the baby goes home with him and not the prospective adoptive parents. To no avail, baby Wyatt (known as a different name currently) was born on September 7, 2013 and was sent home with the prospective adoptive parents. Preston was denied signing a declaration declaring he is the father and was denied being placed on the birth certificate at the hospital. He was only allowed 15 minutes with his son the day he was born. Only Preston and in a separate room with the prospective adoptive father. Prestons family was not allowed to meet the baby at birth. Unfortunately, lies, deceit and evil won in our court system and Preston was told he was never there for her emotionally mentally or financially so they did not make him the presumed father therefore he has no say in this adoption going through. Preston is the biological father and the DNA confirms that, but biological fathers have no rights. Ones who watch a child as the court took away Prestons rights as a daddy to his newborn child are not Christians.. So, are they going to explain to him one day if God forbid Preston King doesnt get him that his daddy and his family wanted him and loved him more than anything and fought and fought and fought, but they took him anyway? This is sick and not love. Please continue to pray. Preston and his family will not stop fighting and they will not rest until Wyatt is home in Prestons arms. This is so wrong on every level and evil cannot win.. Preston is crushed. The family is crushed. The King family is broken and not whole. The adoption “industry” has become expert at circumventing a father’s right to parent his own child. We should all be disgusted. And while that little baby Wyatt is forced to live with strangers; the only thing we have left to do is pay homage to him and fight to see that his suffering is not in vein. The judge ruled 1 month ago that Preston wasnt there for the birth mom mentally, emotionally or financially... Although he was and showed proof and was excited from the moment he found out he was going to be a daddy... He was told that it wouldnt be in the best interest of his son to give Preston visitation rights. The other side has a totally different story of course..BUT, the birth mom will not come on this page as herself and talk...but she has reached out to others...some have contacted us and some have believed her...Preston loved her and NEVER did all she claims. We do not have to defend Preston because... the truth will prevail...it always does. Preston will not give up and neither will his family until baby Wyatt is home in Prestons arms. There is no amount of money or time that will cause this fight to end...it WILL continue...Please continue to share this story with as many as you can. Please ask them to share also...We have have many fathers come forward who have been treated the same. Some with the same courthouse, same judge, and the other side the same attorneys. Something is definately going on. This will get bigger and everyone involved will be exposed. UPDATE: December 20, 2013… In regards to Fathers Rights and the private adoption industry. This is wonderful that this topic be brought to attention. As an advocate/paternal parent/paternal grandparent of Preston/Baby Wyatt King case there was a Facebook page called Father rights to child that generated over 50K likes in less than 4 weeks. A petition was generated, a web page was designed and a Youtube video was published that makes a statement. Facebook unpublished this page. It made international and national news, along with many other family/fathers rights pages. Recently in San Diego there was a case against judges and attorneys for abuse of power. Why is this continuing, this needs to stop? We are interested in speaking with your news for an interview to help support fathers and others to help bring families togethers and avoid the case of parental alienation. We are going to continue the movement and fight for fathers as we know all they want is to be daddys to their children. This is a current case that we support, we want to express and thank you to all fathers who are there for there children today. Daddies and mommies are important. There is not a rule book for raising children. We all face challenges as parents. We treasure moments and raise our kids to be good parents, to do the right thing. We question WHY the judicial system so corrupted. No father should be disregarded with law officials destroying the opportunity to raise your own flesh n blood. Fathers deserve the opportunity to have these memorable moments treasured. UPDATE: The appeal was filed on April 23, 2014. Now we wait...Thank you everyone for your continued love, support & compassion. Praying baby Wyatt (aka Noah Zachary K) will be home with Preston in the next couple months. He is almost 8 months old. Preston and Wyatt have lost enough precious time with each other. We love you baby Wyatt and cannot wait until your homecoming. Until that day comes sweet precious baby boy we pray God will continue to keep his arms around you and keep you safe. UPDATE: October 22, 2014 It is with an EXTREMELY HEAVY AND BROKEN HEART to announce Preston has lost his appeal. The trial court ruled that because he wasnt there for the mother emotionally, mentally and financially, he didnt qualify as a Kelsey S Father.... The appeal court acknowledged and said that he is commended for all he did to prepare to be a father, they stated that the mother even testified in trial they planned to raise the baby together for 8 months of the pregnancy, the appeal court stated it was wrong and they disagreed the paps and the mother portraying Preston to be a villain ... etc... but they said because they bickered it could have caused the baby to be born premature, underweight, it put stress on the mother, therefore he doesnt qualify as a father, because he didnt have his babys emotional well being at heart...WHAT??????????? This news came yesterday and all we have done is cry.... 16 months of fighting, $64K out of pocket...BUT... we are NOT GIVING UP OR EVER GOING TO STOP TRYING... Ripping apart families one at a time as their bank account grows. We are going to expose the ugly, I dont care if it kills me... this is so wrong.. this is our flesh and blood. This is all for now... If you care to read the appeal courts opinion.. copy and paste basically of the trial courts... its public record. Orange county appeals court district 4 division 3 under opinions on their website. Pk vs Hm .... This is truly baby selling/trafficking... Private adoptions should be banned… UPDATE: November 3, 2014 The next stop is the California Supreme Court. We had a second opinion regarding Prestons case. The trial court absolutely without a doubt screwed up...didnt rule according to the law... Apparantly, Ted Youmans does these private adoptions all the time and over the last almost 20 years, so he is pretty guaranteed not to lose should the 1% try and fight for their rights to be a daddy. This is how the judges remain on the bench... win the cases for the attorneys who put them there. SICK... The appeals court is all about judicial error. There was absolutely error in several areas... to which they acknowledge this. The ruling from the lower court should have been automatically reversed and Preston given his rights that he should have been given in the trial court...BUT instead, they upheld the trial courts ruling based on a new reason they came up with? COMPLETE AND TOTAL CORRUPTION. These people all dine, golf, vacation together, etc... No justice for the ones seeking it. The private adoption industry is a multibillion dollar a year industry. Our attorney even said if this wasnt a private adoption Preston would have already had his son. Grant Knox asked me when with Preston for a visit when his son was 2 weeks old, what are you going to do in November when you lose? He said if there was even a chance he would lose he wouldnt be doing this... Truly disturbing that he was guaranteed a baby.. my sons baby who has been wanted and loved from the moment he knew he was going to be a daddy. So here we are.. to get the Supreme court to hear our case is less than 2% and the clock is ticking.. we have less than 30 days to submit... the cost will be somewhere between 5-35K just to submit to see if they will take the case. If they say no... I dont believe there is anywhere left to go... Maybe Federal as constitutional rights have been violated also mentioned by the appeals court, but our state doesnt recognize the constitution. But for now just trying to come up with the $$ is the challenge. We have done this on our own as we have felt this is our families job to deal with.
