The Facade of Facebook. As time offers new and advanced ways of communication it also offers new ways to hide who we really are. As a child I often withdrew from or hid from the audience because of personal embarrassment over my physique or my perception of what others seen when they saw me. Later was tempted to exaggerate to enhance my idea of what others might like me to be. The facade offered by Facebook is a few steps beyond what cb radios gave when people got their handle and talked in a funny tone of voice. However life never became real to me until I surrendered all to Jesus in second definite experience of grace in 1971 at McKibben Chapel in Waverly, Ohio. It was on Saturday night and the fake Bob died and Christ in His fullness filled my soul with a reality that needed nothing else. If you want to be fake and a looser in life Facebook offers you the opportunity like nothing in the past. However if you want real life ask God to save your soul for Jesus sake and them offer yourself as a living sacrifice and permit the Holy Spirit of God to shape you in the Masters image.
