The Face in 21st Century In the morphology of the body, the face - TopicsExpress

The Face in 21st Century In the morphology of the body, the face is a victim of oppression. The face is helpless and belaboured under the selfs constant pressure to assert itself on the social sphere and the mediascape. What then is the face? it is an argument, it is the selfs claim that it does not just exist, but rather lives. If by the middle of the century the human face appeared unrecognisable to man as a result of the two world tragedies, the face at the onset of the millenum has been battered and denaturalized by the infra-rouge of the camera. Our smiles are only as valid as they can be captured and posted on the media. Our face, this born public figure and pseudo-passionate actor, always comes back to haunt, to settle scores, to ask for payment from the self in privacy for service rendered in public.
