The Faculty of Education and Arts (FEAs) is hosting a Seminar on “Adoption of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) in Primary School Curriculum”under the theme: “Embracing ICT in teaching in Primary Schools” on WEDNESDAY, 26TH JUNE 2013 at KCA University main campus, Ruaraka from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. Participants include over 200 Education Officers and primary school teachers from Nairobi County. Chief Guest is Mrs. Margaret Okemo -Director, Basic Education – Ministry of Education The Bachelor of Education& ICT programme will be launched thereafter. The Faculty has lined up other seminars on this theme with the aim of demystifying fears of adoption of ICT in the school curriculum and to provide necessary support mechanisms for success of the noble idea of the government.
