The pope called her Gate of Heaven, which means you have to come through Mary to get to heaven. Of course Catholics will not admit this worship of Mary openly, but admission is not necessary to prove guilt. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. -John 14:6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; -1 Timothy 2:5 If there is one mediator, and Jesus Christ is that only mediator, why does the Catholic Church teach something else? Because, as well see later, the Catholic Church doesnt base their religion from the Bible alone; they add and take away at their discretion.
