The Family Cafe will be held next weekend in Orlando, Florida. familycafe.net/ If you would like to take advantage of all of the information and training that will be available at The 16th Annual Family Cafe, all you have to do is come to the Hilton Orlando on Friday, June 6 and visit the On-Site Registration desk. Our volunteers will take your information, and provide you with a name badge and a program, and you will be all set for three days of collaboration, advocacy, frienship and empowerment! The Sweet Sixteen 16th Annual Family Cafe is set for June 6-8, 2014. This three-day event provides a venue for for people with disabilities and their families to learn about available services, connect with policy makers and network with each other. It features dozens of breakout sessions, a full Exhibit Hall, an engaging series of keynotes and plenty of opportunities to interact with other families. The Family Cafe is pleased to once again welcome Governor Rick Scott to The Annual Governors Summit on Disabilities, which will be held on Saturday morning this year. He will be on hand to share his vision for Floridians with disabilities, and to hear from attendees about the issues that are most important to them. We are also looking forward to an appearance by NFL legend and disabilty advocate Dan Marino on Friday evening. He will discuss his advocacy through the Dan Marino Foundation, and the opening of the Marino Campus for students with disabilities in Fort Lauderdale. - See more at: familycafe.net/
