The Farewell to Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar would have added something more to the win win situation of his 200th Match, had he also hit a century in the first inning itself ! But the whole scenario also indicates towards a pulsating need of the common Indian personality to be close to Psychology or living the way things are more close to a psychological plane of life as compared to being close to Sociology or living the way things are more close to a Sociological plane of life ... Had Sachin scored a century ..It would have really hit the inner core of the psychological plane of his fans living and . I am sure fans would have shown up in a double or triple intensity as far as celebrations and enthusiasm were concerned ... Although he along with his team won this match with a huge margin and which mere reflects a Sociological gain in terms of statistics alone does not make fans forget the pain of his not hitting a Century...Thats why I always say .. 21st century is the age of Psychologists as opposed to Sociologists and Statisticians ( Economists also included as far as India is concerned ) !
