The Father’s Day fishing derby has been a tradition for many - TopicsExpress

The Father’s Day fishing derby has been a tradition for many years at the Turnpike Rod & Gun Club in Ashburnham, MA. Always an enjoyable event, the derby concluded with awards and prizes for each and every child that participated. These gifts were generously donated year after year by a woman doing so in memory of her brother. Unfortunately, this year she was unable to make that donation. This year, we would like to continue that tradition In Honor of Bill Leary. We know that Father’s Day is just around the corner, but we are reaching out to anyone who would like to contribute to this event. Boys and girls of all ages and interests participate in this Derby and we would like for them to receive an award for their participation. We are looking for unwrapped toys, games, etc… to give out as prizes. We ask that each prize does not exceed $10. These prizes can be dropped off at several locations leading up to the Derby: The Turnpike Rod and Gun Club- Corey Hill Road, Ashburnham MA Bridgewater Wholesalers Incorporated (BWI)- 248 Industrial Road, Leominster MA (c/o Jessica Souza) The South Fitchburg Social Club- 47 Duck Mill Road, Fitchburg MA (c/o Rick Rivard) Thank you!
