The Fear of Success is The Beginning of Failure Believe it OR not! “If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask ? The answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place.” ~ Nora Roberts “The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.” ~ Elbert Hubbard According to Simplicity: The fear of failure is the begining of failure So many of us have been conditioned to believe that success is for the few and lucky ones. At times, we so much fear to undertake some things because of the risks involved but we forget to realize that the fear of taking risk is even a bigger risk itself which is very dangerous most times keeps us stand still in one place without fulfilling our dream of success in life. Ralph Waldo Emerson said ‘Always do what you are afraid to do’. I have come to the realization that what we are afraid to do is success. Why are we afraid of success? The fear of success won’t do you any good; rather you will miss many things that success will bring to you. Critics and backbiters will always be there to make you lose. They could be friends, family, co-workers or anybody. Just know to yourself that you can never please anyone, ignoring them is the best weapon. When you press forward, success will bring you: - Confidence at the highest level - More network of high level professionals - A happier bank account @ WebNetNaira - More doors opened and more. I’ve learnt that to be successful, ignoring the critics and backbiters are not the only way out. The two other things involved are to stay away from negative people i.e. always be positive and don’t be scared to fail. When you fail, it simply means you value success more and don’t forget to learn from it by educating yourself how everything went downhill. You can also check: *. He told me success is like walking in a dark room, at first you feel scared and don’t know what to expect, but once you found the light and turns it on, everything becomes clear and simple.
