The Ferguson situation is heartbreaking. While there are various groups and individuals on all sides behaving badly and seeking inglorious ends, there are many more who are simply caught up the momentum. Statistics and rhetoric will not be the remedy here. Politics cannot fix this. May God grant that the voices heard and heeded in Ferguson are voices in tune with the mind and heart of God. May there be justice and mercy and peace, and may it flow down like a river.
