The Filipino Media oversimplifies Trillanes versus Binay as a battle of good versus evil. This is because an audience force-fed a steady diet of gossip & telenovelas cannot be made to consider (or comprehend) the probability of a battle of evil versus evil. Does vilifying a villainous Binay automatically make Trillanes a hero? There is no logic that says this is true. A young wolf killing an old wolf does not endear the usurper to its prey; unless youre a sheep. There may be mounting evidence that Binay cant be trusted, but there is also a lack of evidence that Trillanes actually can. However, for poisoning the perception of the people, the Media may yet be the least trustworthy of them all.
