The Final Countdown Week 11 What a wild ride this league has had. One super undefeated team and 8 teams that have a shot at division leads or wild card (6-4 or 5-5) Talk about an intense final few weeks. Walkers: Congratz you’re in the playoffs most likely 1st seed Bone crushers: Can make wildcard, however behind by 40 points if it is a tied record. Must outscore other teams and win at least 3 out of 4 games for a chance Punishers: Must win every game for a chance at wildcard Monsters: Also must win every game, but if so, will likely get wildcard with the points scored Predators: Must beat blitz next week to hold division lead and get into playoffs. ¾ wins may be enough for wild card Blitz: Must win all games especially against the predators. Annihilators: out of contention Landing: out of it Aggies: Must win ¾ games, beat the colts will get them second seed. Colts: Must win ¾ of their games and score big to clinch playoffs Village: must win all their games for a shot ESWR: there is always next year We had back to our final 4 games, 11, 12 and 13 will be the divisional games where in two divisions, the lead is still up for grabs. Any loss can take these 8 teams out for good, any win could help seal the deal. Lets review the matchups and what may come: North Division: Revenge of the Creeks: The crushers vs the punishers. If the crushers win, the punishers will no longer have a shot at the playoffs. If the Punishers win, then it makes the wild card still a chance for both of them. However very slim. Walking with Monsters: The monsters one of the best comebacks in FF history has enough points to get the wild card. All they need is to win… If they can win their division out, they might be in the playoffs. One loss will end it. Can the Monsters be the one to end the 10 game win streak of the Walkers? South: Annihilating Predators: After a few rough losses, the predators have barely held on to their division lead. One loss away from contention, every game is going to be critical. Thankfully He has a shot against the Annihilators with some painful bye weeks. Chasing Blitzes So here is the end of the season for the landing. Will they take some teams down with them? Here is there shot. One win against the blitz and the blitz will no longer be a playoff contender. However, I don’t think Blitz is going to let this happen easily. West: Sleeping Aggies: Since losing their undefeated title, it’s been an up field battle trying to right the ship as they barely hang on to the division lead. One more loss could spell defeat for them. Will ESWR finish with an exciting win? Or stay napping for the rest of the season. Colt Village: This is one exciting game here, the village is 5-5 the colts are 6-4, winner will be heading closer to the playoffs, loser is likely to be packing their bags.
