The Foes of Falmouth has done it again! The recycled message from wind industry and wind energy zealots (friends) illustrate only that court cases have rendered decisions. By anyones stretch of imagination, they hardly constitute any solution to the continuing problem. A more accurate accounting, given the slowish pace of our judicial system, is by the media record of how many reports of residents having been driven to litigation to protect their health and the comforts of their home. In 2014, sixty four (64) new lawsuits have been filed against wind projects in the USA alone. The shear number of lawsuits capturing 2008 to present, offer a clearer message that regulatory control in the siting of industrial wind projects is woefully lacking. Which takes us back to the real problem: Whether the safety, health and welfare rights of some US citizens will be castigated by the wind industry’s usurping power? Or whether a relatively unscientific but shocking news survey of scores of court action taken by average citizens, will cause regulatory change. There are a great many things which a man will submit to voluntarily but which he will denounce as tyranny if unfairly judged under the law.
