The Forest People again THE TREE PRAYER Ye who would - TopicsExpress

The Forest People again THE TREE PRAYER Ye who would pass by and raise your hands against me, hearken before you harm me. I am the heat of your hearth on the cold winter nights, the friendly shade screening you from the summer sun; and my fruit are refreshing draught quenching your thirst as you journey on. I am the beam that holds your house, the board of your table, the bed on which you lie and the timber that build your boat. I am the handle of your hoe and the door of your homestead, I made your cradle and will guarantee you a befitting coffin as your last home. I am the gift of God and a friend to man Ye who pass by listen to my prayer…………….. HARM ME NOT. babaaru@yahoo.
