The Forgiving Fool A true story in rhyme Brian married two children But marriage was not so good, He mentioned to all in class Hoping in turn they would. Understand why he was leaving His wife and two kids behind, Because his marriage was over Staying would just be unkind. He volunteered for redundancy He talked about this openly, (ee) He was not really a private man So Sally found out then you see. Brian had the hots for Sally She went to his Salsa class, Every week going with her mum Sometimes she took her lass. Sally asked Brian on a date Wow! He thought! This is good, They went on a date it was brill Sally at his side! Well she would. Because Sally was a gold digger Messed with his head, not funny, Not really interested in Brian oh no! Sally just wanted his money. Time passed and Brian got his cash She took Brian by the hand, Saying “her car kept letting her down” Bang! Went six and a half grand. 2-seater sports car with electric roof When button pressed went in the boot, But struggling with University work She needed some more of his loot. Nine hundred and ninety nine pounds For a laptop to help her indeed, But Sally was cunning! She never asked Oh no! She just planted the seed. Now Brian loved playing keyboard Not professional just played for fun, One day he was buying a new keyboard Said Sally, “I’d love to have one.” “I don’t want you to buy it,” said Sally Who was she trying to con? She pointed to the digital Piano Eleven hundred pounds now gone. “Why don’t you put down a deposit? Ten thousand pounds on a house, Then you have something that’s yours” But Brian was a scared little mouse. He did not like Sally’s idea His refusal was met with some frost, But what if they should fall out of love? His £10,000 pounds could be lost. Holidays abroad now for his lady Not forgetting her teen daughter Lou, Greece was the first, 2nd Tenerife Then Ibiza for daughters friend too. Sally liked wearing designer clothes With shoes and boots to match, Sally worked part time only so! Brian’s money made him a catch. Thousands of pounds on clothing For Sally and daughter as well, Meals out were pretty regular But he loved her so! What the hell? Six months his money was gone So they bought a house by the sea, Brian got a nice cushy job he loved But for her full time not to be. “You need to put in for promotion” Said Sally “This isn’t funny, When I find a permanent post I will be earning most money” So he did and stepped up the ladder Sally full time could not find, So she moved to a different County Leaving Brian and daughter behind. This put a strain on their relationship One hundred and fifty two miles, That was the distance between them With Brian he was lacking in smiles. They visited every weekend But Sally did most driving true, One weekend a text on her phone When are you back? Missing you. Brian was so disappointed Was she playing him for a fool? Sally just laughed it off He’s only a male friend it’s cool. Eventually the drive took its toll So they sold but what a delight? They got £44,000 pounds each Buying and selling time was right. Now this was October 2004 Sally bought house on her own, Brian put his money in the bank This time he would leave it alone. He met someone new from college Fiona he liked her so much, But what made her so special Dining out she liked going Dutch. She knew that Brian had this money But said “That’s yours not mine, I don’t want you buying me anything Invest what you can! I’ll be fine.” Fiona was the opposite of Sally She wore clothes she could afford, No fancy designer shoes or boots This about her he adored. Sally came back in Brian’s life Invited him to her parents for tea, He stayed bringing in the New Year She asked him “Will you marry me?” He told her “He had this new woman” He wasn’t quite sure what to do, “It’s easy,” said Sally to Brian Just go and tell her you’re through.” Like the mouse he was he did She cried but said, “It’s ok, I just hope that she makes you happy” He said “Sorry” and then walked away. Sally told Brian “I’ve no money You know I’ve bought my house now,” She was planning her wedding with him Telling Brian “It must be a WOW! Now Brian had just been promoted Working with his new friend Bob, Sally wanted Brian to live with her Telling Brian “He must quit his job” But Brian had no qualifications Finding work worried him see, “You don’t need to work,” said sally “Just as long as you’re living with me. All of his friends tried to warn him Saying he should leave her be, “She took you before to the cleaners She’ll do it again you will see” But Brian was hooked on Sally She could play along with his mind, He left to move in with Sally Leaving job and good friends behind. He started a new job nearby But this was not like before, He was offered a new job elsewhere Took it and walked through the door. He paid two thousand six hundred The wedding album on its own, Her engagement ring was six hundred Just for one small diamond stone. £900 pounds for her wedding ring Rolls Royce just a hundred swell, Nine hundred pound wedding gown One hundred pound tiara as well. Outfits for bridesmaids and pageboy Gifts for all on the day, Honeymoon suite in the Hotel Church service and flowers to pay. £3,800 for their honeymoon Florida three nights USA, Four nights in Hollywood Then they were on their way. Seven nights deal all-inclusive Mexico July so hot, Spending like going out of fashion Two thousand pounds was a lot. Back from honeymoon reality Money all gone now and so, Off he went to his new job But keeping that job was a no. New job was working with vibration tools Causing him pain in his hand, He was forced to leave this work Sally did not understand. He opened a Salsa dance class Soon his income was great, More classes lead to more money But Brian was missing a mate. He had no friends or family Only those attached to his wife, But that was never the same And Brian had a very sad life. Soon Sally was having a baby For Brian this was so much joy, It was agreed that Brian was to be Househusband and care for the boy. As well as caring for Samuel He ran his dance classes, so dumb, Because Sally was always complaining “She should be home being a mum Why can’t you find any work? Why should you have the fun? Why should I have to work? I should be home with our son” Again Sally fell pregnant This time a girl called Sue, Sally returned back to work Leaving Brian then to look after two. He was a deeply devoted father He spent all the time that he had, Making them feel loved and special Trying to be the best ever dad. Sally was getting frustrated Venting her anger with talk, Accusing Brian of hiding her post Brian stormed out for a walk. Nowhere to go no family No friends to take all his strife, He always went back to take more From Sally his young bully wife. She had no idea how he felt Belittled by her every day, Sally had family and friends Brian’s were a phone call away. She would often say this to Brian “I keep a roof over your head, You’re a sponger and a parasite I’m the one earning the bread.” Brian could not bear being near her So he slept downstairs where he hid, Happy and peaceful down there, But whom was he trying to kid. Sally wanted to register Sue Both together it would be sound, One day Brian driving home Took the wrong turn and found. The Registry office by chance An appointment he went in to book, For Sally and him to attend But the staff member said, “Look You can register her on your own Cutting down on time and strife, All I need is partner’s place of birth” So Brian rang Sally his wife. Sally answered the phone So Brian explained where he be, But before he had chance to explain She screamed, “You’ve gone without me” Brian was looking at the lady Sally enraged words were flowing, Too embarrassed to continue He said to Sally “I’m going” He ended the call red faced Said “sorry” his face was a glow, Went home and waited for Sally Frightened he was and so. In she stormed in a rage Accusing him cutting no slack, Nag nag nag nag nag nag nag For going behind her back. He was peeling potatoes for tea She made him feel so trapped, Nag nag nag nag nag nag nag Brian took enough and snapped. He threw the potatoes at her He screamed as loud as he could, Waving the knife and yelling If she doesn’t shut up he would. Knife her then he realised He dropped knife to the floor, Sally rang her brother in law Who came quickly to the door. Whilst Sally packed her bags, Tom The brother in law asked why? He threatened Sally with a knife Brian said, “This is no lie Sally accused me of something And she would not let it go, I pleaded with her to shut up But she went on and on and so. I couldn’t take anymore Tom You know what Sally is like, She’s like a dog with a bone Sally and Joanne are alike.” Joanne is Sally’s sister married To Tom his in law brother, Who then empathized with Brian Saying “girls take after their mother.” Brian broke down in tears A grown man how could he, Allow this bully-nagging wife To disgrace him like this you see, Next day Brian went to his Doctor Explaining about what he had done, Throwing potatoes at Sally Threatening Sally in front of son. Samuel was 18 months old Would never remember it though, But Brian requested a CBT In anger management and so. Attended the mental heath clinic But two sessions then is was done, She told him “Sally is the trigger If you do this again she’ll have won.” Brian stood up then to Sally But his words were classed as a threat, Arguments happening more often A new house they decided to get. A couple were desperate to buy So they sold moving into a flat, Sally took the kids to her parents Leaving Brian to box this and that. Most of it went into storage Travelling to and fro with Tom’s car, It took him the whole day to move Sally said on the phone “You’re a star” The flat where they went had no lift So he carried all stuff up the stair, Nobody around to help him Sally was living elsewhere. She had no idea of the work That Brian had put in that day, It was something she just expected A husband should do this ok? He cleaned and scrubbed Sally’s house Ready for new owners moving in, Sally came back from her parents And gave Brian a cheeky big grin. They stayed in the flat for 2 months Four flights of stairs every day, Brian left to carry the shopping Whilst she sat with kids to play. Brian wanted nothing too fancy Not too expensive and so, Small mortgage would mean holidays Sally told Brian “That’s a NO” She looked beyond their price range Adding more stress bit by bit, Then she saw this one advertised Saying “This is the one! This is it” Quarter of a million pounds A detached sat all alone, Sally worked out all the income Saying to Brian “This house we could own” The bank would let them borrow One hundred and ninety six grand, Sally had thirty thousand pounds But already she did have it planned. The house was out of their budget But Sally said, “It was her call” She asked the owners if they’d drop? Then she let Brian have it all. “You can withdraw all your pensions Then this house we could buy,” So that is exactly what happened But deep down he was living a lie. He wanted to keep his pensions It was everything he had to his name, But if Sally did not get her house He knew that he’d get the blame. He withdrew the whole £18,000 Then it was gone that was it, They bought the house in joint names Then she bullied him daily bit by bit. When it came to the time of moving Sally took the kids to her mum, Brian was left doing unpacking His brother in law Tom helped with some. Only big items like the sofa TV, big boxes full to brim, But as far as everything else went Moving rest was all left to him. Brian had a fiery temper now But nowhere to vent it and so, Sally took the brunt of his anger Did he hit her? That’s an absolute no. They could not afford the repayments Interest only the end of the line, Sally was paying this per month One thousand and seventy nine. One hundred and fifty to Council tax Seventy-seven water rates, Everyone knowing her business Is something that his Sally hates. Seventy-five gas, electricity Twenty-six for telephone, And still to this day Sally’s clueless Why Brian continued to moan. Sixty eight thousand redundancy Forty-four thousand-house sale, Eighteen thousand from pensions A sponger and a parasite male. Marriage on the rocks no wonder But Brian was to blame you see, Sally would never take the blame Favourite words “You cannot blame me” In June two thousand and eleven Credit card debt was to soar, Sally asked Brian to take out a loan To save on interest like before. So to stay on her right side he did Debt gone from her no fears, But Brian paying £309 per month Continuing for the next five years. That was in August but by December She told him to leave to get out, She could not put up with his temper All Brian ever done was to shout. On leaving she asked for maintenance 300 per month her intent, As well as the loan, shopping & fuel On top three hundred pound rent. Returning to house every morning Making kids lunch boxes for school, Even making lunch up for Sally She played him along for a fool. He took his daughter to Pre School Then returned home late afternoon, He done all the housework & chores Till Sally arrived home soon. He cooked them their tea, tidied up He gave his kids hugs and kiss, Trying his hardest not to change Their happiness he tried to keep bliss. But one day whilst doing the chores He stumbled across this book, He had never seen this before So he opened it up for a look. Brian lost control of his legs He collapsed down on to the bed, A private journal by Sally This is the truth what Brian read. Dated 14th June twenty eleven Like a play written set all in scenes, My husband has Narcissistic Personality Disorder Must end marriage by whatever means. I feel sorry to all of my children Single parent this has to be done, I hope my kids will thank me Eventually in the long run. His heart was suddenly broken Losing Sally like this he could cope, But to take away the children he adored How could he be such a dope? In February two thousand & 12 Sally was having a moan, She went upstairs for a sleep He deleted all texts on her phone. They had done a lot of arguing But they always made up like you do, But rather than argue with Sally In front of the kids what he’d do. Was to send her a horrible text He was hurting deep down because, She’d taken him for every penny But arguing that’s all it was. Next day he was not allowed entry She refused he said to her “Please” “You’re no longer welcome here” She said to her friend “Call police” Brian was recording on camera Cause he didn’t trust Sally one bit, He walked across to see Jenny Saying “I just can’t believe this is it” Next minute the police had arrived Brian said, “This is so wrong you see” The copper said, “Are you called Brian?” “Yes I am” “Right” he said, “Follow me” He made Brian sit it the back seat Then asked his full name he said “Brian” “What have you been doing to your wife? She’s frightened in there and she’s crying. She said you’ve threatened to kill her The door you try to break down, Have you ever been in trouble with police?” He said, “Do I look like a clown?” I’ve done nothing wrong” said Brian I deleted her texts on her phone, And I’ve recorded my whole visit here” The recording police were then shown. “Okay” said the copper “stay away Until you get solicitors advice, If you come back and your wife calls us For you it won’t be so nice” Now Brian being the caring sort Who was still in a state of shock, Said, “My wife will need the family car” “No take it,” he said, “She can walk” Still in the month of February Brian saw a solicitor face to face, But she spent most of time on her Talking about her own divorce case. “You haven’t done anything wrong You’re entitled, to be in your house, Just be civil whilst you are there Make sure not to anger your spouse.” But Brian knew what Sally was like He kept away as long as he could, But had to go back for his post Have a witness inside yes he would. Early March Brian returned Jenny who was eighty-four, He asked her if she’d be a witness? She said, “Yes I’ll wait by the door” There was no post so Brian locked up Thanking Jenny for helping him out, Then went back to his rented house But a text from Sally made him doubt. “I know you were in my house Whilst manipulating Jenny you see, Despite you been told to stay away You’ve come back here to harass me.” Early morning Brian took a phone call From Jenny who was very upset, Sally bashing both fists on her door Delivering poor Jenny a threat. “You let him in,” Sally screamed You’re warned, I won’t warn you again, Don’t you ever help Brian”? Jenny continued “and then. She was in an absolute frenzy Margaret my friend we’re quite pally, She came to see what the noise was So shocked when she saw it was Sally.” “I wanted to go and report her But I am scared of Sally and so, I’m sorry but I cannot do this Brian She could hurt me for sure this I know.” Brian said, “I’m coming to see you Just to make sure you’re all right, Expecting Sally to be working But Sally was raring for a fight. As soon as Brian left Jenny’s house Sally ran across and protested, “Police have told you not to come here I’m going to have you arrested.” Brian was sick of her lies and threats He went to the pub to quench thirst, Later that night he was drunk He did something without thinking first. He sent Sally’s best friend an email Pretending to be Sally oh yes, To Marge she said, “I’m sorry But dear friend I have to confess. I went behind your back with James And now I feel disgrace, I want you to ask if it’s true Watch expression on my face. James and I embarked I am guilty of this crime. I love you so much dear friend But I’ve fancied him for a long time. Next day Brian got this text From Sally now he could tell, He had woken up the devil His life from now will be hell. Brain rang the police and explained About the email he had sent, They said they wanted to see him So to the station Brian then went. They asked Brian about the email Brian said, “It was the last straw, I was sick of her lying to the police But I have not broken the law. The hot mail address I set up Password I set that up too, And the email was 100% genuine So there’s nothing you can do. Unless Sally pressed charges But that won’t happen here’s why? She’d have to swear on the bible In court and then tell a lie. To say that it did not happen To lie in court end of line, So instead she asked for Brian To be given fixed penalty fine. Brian’s heart sank when he saw The fixed penalty £80 ticket, The police said, “I’m not convinced If you want then tell me to stick it. I have my own thoughts on this So I will cut you some slack, Take this advice stay away from her If not you’ll find you’ll be back. Police told Brian they have no Power to stop him from going, To his house to see Sally and kids But Sally with this was unknowing. She thought he was not allowed So she changed the lock on the door, If Brian went near her she called The police like she had done before. 14th of March Brian made An appointment at Sally’s school, To see head teacher to explain He had no charges pending, cool. Head teacher told Brian he was Welcome to visit his son, She said he would be kept in touch Just the exact same as everyone. 15th March Brian was told at school Sally took Samuel that day, 40 minutes early but reason unknown So Brian rang Sally to say. “Is Samuel alright you took him home Not leaving a reason you see,” Sally said, “The police have told you Not to contact me.” Brian has got a recording of this As well as a recoding next day, Brian went to see his kids at school Sally said, “You’ve been told! Stay away I’ll allow you to leave or I’m calling The police! you should not be here,” Brian said, “I have every right” Sally yelled back in is ear.” Now I have to mention this letter Brian received later that year, From police stating they had no power To stop Brian going anywhere near. The school, the house or Sally But if she calls them to report this male, For attempting to see his children He could end up going to jail. Today was Brian’s Birthday A hug and a kiss that was all, But Sally refused to allow him Sally hoping it would start a brawl. Back to the house Brian went Recording on video all time, Tapping on window and door Sally rang to report a crime. Through the letterbox he pleaded A hug and a kiss and he’d go, But that was not to be Did he harass or shout oh no. Samuel came to the letterbox Brian said, “Son I love you” Little Samuel only five yrs old Said back “I love you too. Mummy’s upstairs on the phone” Brian said, “She’ll be phoning police I’m going son I love you” And he left to keep the peace. This was Friday 16th of March When Sally reported to say How distressed the children had been But not until the Sunday!!! Did police pay Brian a visit Saying after he’d been advised, To keep away from Sally He’d gone back” but this was lies. Now I have to mention this letter again Brian received later that year, From police stating they had no power To stop Brian going anywhere near. But PC six seven eight Cloove Thought he would do better, Accepted lies from Sally Served Brian an harassment letter. Brian said “I have proof on my phone A recording took by me, Proving I am innocent” He held it out “Look! See!” A wasted breath from Brian PC did not care, He called with schedule of behaviour And told Brian “Sign it there” “Sally has now requested No direct contact from you, It must be done through solicitor So just make sure that you do. If we get a phone call from Sally Saying you’re harassing her so, Brian you will be arrested And could go to prison you know” Monday 19th March at home A noise he chose to ignore, But then looked out and saw Sally Marching up to his front door. He opened the window calling out “This is double standards is it not?” Sally got into her car then drove off “I bet it’s just hate mail,” he thought. He went downstairs to see letter Dropped through by Jekyll & Hyde, Sally had overstepped the mark Addressed to him open wide. He rang the police to report this She had angered him so much this time, “Yes,” said the voice on the phone “Sally has committed a crime. You’ll have to come to the station We’ll file a report and from there, An officer will go to see Sally To make sure she’s fully aware. That yes she has broken the law Opening your post end of line, A breach of postal services Act 2000 Quite possibly she could face a fine. But another policeman took over PC six seven eight Cloove, Took just one look at the letter Saying “nothing here you can prove.” Brian said, “I know what is in there Her fingerprints all over the cheque,” But PC six seven eight Cloove He was in charge of the deck. Brian said, “This is harassment I’m writing a complaint so be told, Chief Constable will get my letter” This case will surely unfold” “Ok” said PC six seven eight I understand your claim, I’ll take a trip to see Sally With her I will say the same. Now remember the letter Brian had? How this letter had taken effect, Brian got a threat from her solicitor Saying contact must be direct. Because she reported to police Police had a duty to write, To let child services know Sally feared for their safety yeh right! Cafcass opened case file, They put some suggestions to court, An enhanced CRB for the father With a Dr’s full medical report. The reason the case went ahead Brian paid to have contact restored, With Sally refusing mediation But these fees he could not afford. The magistrate allowed him contact A few hours only in week, Additional time on a Sunday “Big deal” thought Brian “what cheek.” He had been the main carer Raising two kids on his own, She stopped him total contact Her reasons for this still unknown. Cafcass closed the case Satisfied that day, The children not at risk of harm Court order Brian had to obey. Sally’s solicitor in control Wrote to Brian’s GP, Requesting a full medical report But asked what charges there’d be? Brian was claiming his costs Sally was fighting him so, He claimed he was the main carer Sally swore on an oath this was no. She sent Brian regular blackmail Playing with his head a bit more, What do I say to Samuel and Sue? When I can’t afford things anymore. The child-minder wrote him a letter To prove main carer was he, But she got a reply from Sally Threatened with ofsted if she. Interfered in her marital affairs But she gave her concern and alarm, She wrote that the order from court States the kids were at risk from harm. This was agreed through Cafcass Personal details sally disclosed, But lied about it openly The case had already been closed. In Court they attended for costs Sally had an 18-page note, Full of lies and deceit Hoping to win judge’s vote. She maximised her expenditure Her losing was out of the question, But suddenly Brian remembered Her lodger she had failed to mention. Her solicitor turned round to Sally Red faced that look in his eyes, He knew nothing about the lodger He had to apologise. Brian wanted over a thousand But six hundred for him still a win, When they walked out of the courtroom For some minutes he did have a grin. Sally sacked that solicitor She blamed him for losing her case, Nobody let’s Sally down She stormed past him at apace. After a while Brian & Sally Started being friendly and so, She let him back into the house But not to stay there oh no! Sally had got what she wanted She wanted him out on his ear, Sally was just biding her time For the next stage later that year. Sally’s parents lived by the sea Brian’s daughter was there too, Sally was going up for Christmas Brian said “that’s good me and you” “I can stay at daughters and then I can see the kids once rested” Sally said, “If you come anywhere near My parents I’ll have you arrested” Brian stayed at home whilst Sally Went to her parents by the sea, Ten days over Christmas no kids Could not understand how she. Could be so cruel to the children After all sacrifices he’d done, But Sally was a control freak Manipulating him till she won. In Feb they went to court For financial settlement pot, The magistrate didn’t like Brian And awarded Sally the lot. Thirty seven thousand equity She got it all don’t fret, Brian got twenty one thousand But no equity all that was debt. Brian complained to the judge Saying it was not right, That Sally should get everything But judge not listening to his plight. “Wait outside for a moment” The judge said to Brian & Sally, Then invited them both back in All smiles and acting quite pally. Then he said “I must apologise But the tape was not on and so, I will have to run over again” But mention complaint? Oh no Ordered to pay three hundred Per month was ordered that day, The magistrate said goodbye Sally and Brian on their way. Smiles all round from Sally Sadness for Brian such a waste, When he called to pick up kids Big party to rub in his face. This got his back up for sure He felt so sick he could spew, He had to grin and bear it though Like the majority of fathers do. Eventually the clean break came Then Sally played on the fool, Worried about their daughter Had not got a place at her school. How on earth would she cope? Laid on Brian without warning, Being the soft touch he said “I’ll take her every morning” They both went to school for a look Then Sally said to Brian not funny, “You’ll have to find more work Because I will need more money” Brian said, “Won’t ever happen I love the job that I do, My life is spent in a bedroom So why should I give it to you?” “It’s not for me you are doing it It’s for the kids is what it’s about, Are you prepared to turn your back? And allow your kids to miss out?” Emotional blackmail on Brian But hopefully now you’ll agree, There was never an ounce of love Just a gold digging woman was she. Sally told Brian at the school “Samuel does not want to go, With you today so leave him” But Brian said to Sally “No” I have a court order in force So Samuel is coming you see, Sally took Sue from Brian Then said ok that suits me.” “I’ll see you back at the house” So Brain went there from school, Eventually Sally arrived late Being late was the norm as a rule, Samuel got out of the car His head was hanging down low, Sally snapped, “Just leave him He doesn’t want to go” Brian bent down to Samuel Told him what he would miss, Said to Samuel “Come on son” Then gave him a hug and a kiss. Samuel said, “He wanted to go Sally was so unkind, Shouting back “If you go! You cannot change your mind.” Brian said, “The gloves are off I’m withdrawing my support, I’ll only help you with school Providing it goes through court” On Saturday early morning Sally rang Brian and said, “listen, Stay away from the kids and me Or I will have you sent to prison.” On Sunday with his court order He went for the kids in peace, But Sally had taken them out So Brian went down to police. “There’s nothing we can do It’s a civil matter outright, If you want to see your kids A solicitor will help you fight.” That afternoon Brian got A call to cut him some slack, “I’m just letting you know Brian Sally and the kiddies are back.” So Brian went round for his right A court order mentions the days, When he can have his children His head was set ablaze. The kids came out with Sally All laughing in his face but why? Until he tried to get Samuel The he began to cry. Both the kids were screaming The neighbours watching in, Sally pulling at Brian Screaming “And causing such a din.” “Go now” Said Sally or I’ll phone The police they’ll come for you, I mean it Brian I’ll phone them” Said Brian to Sally “Please do.” Both kids were now hysterical Screaming “daddy please go,” But Brian said, “Don’t worry kids I’m staying here” And so. The police arrived when calm Sally and the kids in the house, The police went into see Sally Pretending to be a small mouse. One came out shaking his head Brian thought he wanted to chat, The copper said, “I didn’t come here For screaming at me like that.” Cut to the chase what’s next? Sally the gold digging wife, Has claimed Brian assault her And threatened to take her life. He has to go to the station Will Sally win the day? I wonder what will happen? Will the police lock Brian away? What about the children? Sally has to live with shame Surely they have rights? To love both parents the same. Couples often fall in love Kiddies come along, If the parents separate To punish them is wrong. It’s high time courts decided To stop this hatred trail, 50% custodial order Would put fewer dads in jail. Brian went to police station A statement he gave on tape, Thanks to witness testimony For him a lucky escape. But not all dads are fortunate From the lies their ex’s tell, Police say they’re impartial But under witches spell. She claims she’s been harassed Their children get upset, Because they want their daddy But ex claims it’s a threat. Taken from the children’s point They have the right to choose, If they want to see both parent Why should those kids lose? So here’s a poem Brian wrote For kids involved in splits, Sent to parental courses Who loved his rhyme to bits. Separated Parents You’re no longer living together You know that I love you both so, But Mum & Dad I have feelings This I just want you to know. I don’t like being caught in the middle I know that you both had to part, But all this fighting please stop! Between you you’re breaking my heart. I don’t want to pass on your message I don’t want to choose between you, I don’t want to hear you blaming each other Please listen to my point of view. It’s going to take time and patience But if you’re willing to do a good deed, Start acting in a business like fashion Think about the things that I need? I need a mum and a dad to love me I need a mum and dad to care, I need a mum and dad to be parents I need for both of you to be there. So please put agenda’s aside, You’re no longer partners it’s through, But to me you’ll always be parents My love must be shared between you. So Sally is denying their right And all that Brian can do, Is to tell the world his story One hundred percent it’s true. He will take a lie detector test Hypnosis, truth drug, whatever, To prove his story is real But is asking now though whether. You will stand with him Send a letter to number ten, Asking for the law to be changed For the children sake and then. Happy contented children Allowed to see both mum and dad, No more wasting police time Claiming ex husbands are mad. Every time an ex partner lies The taxpayer foots the bill, So please write to number ten The end from Author Bill. By Bill Mckechnie wild-bill.co.uk
