The Fox Newsy-ness of the video notwithstanding, I cannot agree more. It is undeniably important for parents to get their kids vaccinated. We live in an incredible age where medical science has made diseases like measles and polio a thing of the past. We also live in an age where anyone with access to Google and a Twitter account is suddenly a medical professional. Let me make this very clear; unless that person eschewing the use of vaccines is either a doctor or Dumbledore himself, dont listen to them. Vaccines have a very, very, VERY low failure rate and, when compared to NOT vaccinating, the pros outweigh the cons. Besides...I would prefer to get my medical advice from an actual medical professional, rather than discredited doctors and Jenny McCarthy. So get your kids their shots, Mums and Dads. Believe me: your kids will thank you for it...because, statistically-speaking, your kids will still be alive.
