The Freelancer Economy is coming. -Past: Our parents had one job for 50 years. -Now: Well have five jobs in one career. -Future: Our kids will have 5 jobs at the same time. As one data point, yesterday, the CEO of Uber tweeted that NYC Uber drivers make $90,000.00 a year. https://twitter/travisk/status/471761107372109824 Our kids could be digital nomads working online (odesk/elance, zirtual, freelancer, cloudpeeps, popexpert), or doing micro tasks (Uber driving, Wonolo, Instacart) living where never they want, from an (Airbnb or Couchsurfing). Whats the change? They could be enjoying life experiences --not nose down in a cubicle working for the man. The freelancer economy, they work when they want, live when they want, and reduce costs through sharing. Apparently, 40% of American will be freelancers in 6 years --2020.
