The Frenier campaign had great exposure last weekend to the 45,000 people who attended Tunbridge Fair. We had surrounded the Fairgrounds with multiple Burma Shave-style signs on every access road and that attracted everyone’s attention. I spent about 35 hours in front of the Orange County GOP booth reaching out to shake hands with about 2000 people. About 300 were future constituents who stopped to talk with me. Everyone commented positively on those signs and it is apparent their widespread distribution throughout the district during the past month has raised awareness of the Frenier campaign in every resident’s mind. When asked, “What should I be talking about?” nearly everyone replied that taxes, jobs, healthcare and education were causes of real concern to them. Nobody was happy with the status quo and the notion that “It’s time for a change” was nearly universal.
