Nobody likes its presence, Some visit temples to avert it, Some go to astrologers to put it aside, Some opt for ritual and fasts to forget it all the time, But this duty bound commando never loses ground, Some call it prarabdha,the due to be undertaken, Some address it a curse,taking it their lot in store, Family may desert you, Friends,near and dear may opt for the same passage with the passage of time, But it ticks round the clock all the years, Right from the day tuned with pipe and drum, To the day of chanting ram nam satya hai.
