Although local authorities now have an agenda to improve the health and well being of residents, the intention is volunteers are now expected to organise these activities. All parks groups present from all over the North West felt that the reduction and removal of park and countryside rangers has been so short sighted and has resulted in a decrease in these type of events in our communities.
